About Peggy Patenaude

Peggy Patenaude is a woman of earthy wisdom, contagious enthusiasm and time-tested faith. Gentle but dynamic, she has a unique ability to inspire in others a hunger for continued growth. Peggy believes that each of us has only one wild and precious life to live, and that life must be embraced, cherished and lived to the fullest. This principle guides her personal life and her mission to help others celebrate who they are and what they can become. Her own journey has led her to share with others the need to slow down and pay attention to oneself, one's relationships, and the presence of the Divine.
Peggy has worked in education, pastoral ministry, and spirituality for over 45 years. In 2002, she founded Taking Time Out, her own retreat and workshop ministry. With her playful spirit, love of storytelling, and an enormous repertoire of creative exercises, she has helped many people refresh, renew and embrace their own wild and precious lives. Peggy lives on Cape Cod and has been married for 25 years to her husband Dan.
