The Journey to Easter

April 15 - 17, 2011

La Salette Retreat Center
Attleboro, MA
Easter is a celebration of transformation and triumph. It is the most significant Holy Day of the Christian Church. The gifts of Easter are encouragement and hope. The goal of this retreat is to prepare for this great feast by reflecting on the lessons the Holy Week events hold for us today. The weekend will include presentations, guided meditation, prayer, music, ritual, time for solitude and time for sharing. Palm Sunday liturgy will be celebrated Saturday evening and the retreat concludes Sunday with lunch. The retreat is open to men and women, Catholics and non-Catholics. Lent is an invitation to take time out for renewal of the spirit. We hope you consider doing so by joining us on The Journey to Easter.
Time: Retreat begins on Friday at 7:30PM and concludes with lunch on Sunday.
Location: La Salette Retreat Center, 947 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703

Highlights include the wonderful inspirational stories, meditations and music. There were so many!
I learned that life doesn’t have to be so serious. That joy and suffering can co-exist. The retreat helped me to know God is with me especially during tough times.
What helped me was the assistance in refocusing and returning to my daily prayer life, to center myself and seek God in a more orderly fashion.
A highlight for me was the wonderful spirit here with us as a group and the candid honest sharing.
I know I am thirsting and hungry for a relationship with Jesus and I have taken steps to meeting that hunger. You’ve given me lots of food for the journey.
What helped me were your wonderful meditations and your sense of humor. It was such a joyful experience from start to finish.
Something that helped me was the time and space to just listen and be comfortable with the quiet.
The whole program was fantastic.
